16 convicted in Sadar Bazaar riot case

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) A Delhi court has convicted 16 persons in connection with the riots of 1990 in the Sadar Bazar locality of the city in which eight people were killed.

The court of Additional Sessions Judge N P Kaushik would read out the sentence against them on September 8.

Of the 18 charged with the riots of November 14, 1990, one died during trial and one was declared proclaimed offender.
