Wales squad plane forced to abort flight to Prague
LONDON, Aug 31 (Reuters) The plane carrying the Wales squad from Cardiff to Prague for Saturday's match against the Czech Republic was forced to land at Bournemouth airport because of a cracked windscreen, Sky Sports News reported today.
The flight was aborted after 25 minutes with the captain reporting a loss of altitude because of the windscreen damage.
The squad were expected to be delayed for around an hour before a replacement plane was found to continue the journey.
