TRS satisfied with protest on Telangana issue

Hyderabad, Aug 31 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) today expressed satisfaction over the protest made by party MPs in Parliament and MLAs in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the Telangana issue.

TRS President K Chandrasekhara Reddy and senior leader A Narendra convened a meeting here with party MPs, MLAs, State Committee and District Committee leaders to chalk out future agitation plans and strategy for achieving separate Telangana state.

Later, talking to mediapersons, senior leader N Narasimha Reddy said the meeting reviewed the functioning of the party at various levels in Telangana region.

''The party would also expose the double standards of Congress in Telangana issue'', he added.
