Three militants,a woman killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 31: Three militants and a woman were killed in separate incidents across the Kashmir valley since last evening, official sources said today.

They said a woman, identified as Sakina Bano, was killed by unknown persons in her residence at Dawoocha, Rafiabad in north Kashmir's Baramulla district last night.

The sources said two militants were killed by the security forces in a gunfight at Bonigam, Kangan in Srinagar district last evening.

Some arms and ammunition were also seized from the encounter site.

Security forces also killed a militant in south Kashmir last night, they added.
