Mild quake hit West Bengal-Asom border region
New Delhi, Aug 31: A quake of slight intensity rocked West Bengal-Asom border region this morning.
Measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale, the quake was epicentred at 26.4 degree North Latitute and 89.7 degree East Longitude, according to the India Meteorological Department here.
However, no one was reported injured in the temblor which hit the region at about 1106 hrs.
