Rupee opens weak by two paise at Rs 46.53/54 per USD

Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) The rupee today opened weak by two paise at Rs 46.53/54 per US dollar as compared to the previous close of Rs 46.51 per USD, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, the domestic currency was trading at Rs 46.54/55 per USD.

The stock market, too, opened in the green by 30 points and is currently trading at 11,764.70 points.
