Rain disrupts train services in Orissa
Bhubaneswar, Aug 31 (UNI) Train services in Sambalpur-Titlagarh section were disrupted for second day today due to a crack on railway bridge between Dunguripali and Khaliapali stations forcing the East Coast Railway (ECR) to cancel, divert or short-terminate some of the trains, official sources said.
The ECR today cancelled Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Express and Kantabanji-Jharsuguda Passenger trains till Friday.
Those trains which were re-routed/diverted include Dhanbad-Alleppy Express via Sambalpur, Angul, Barang, Khurda Road and Vijayanagaram. Bhubaneswar-Raipur Express leaving Bhubaneswar today will be diverted via Jharsuguda, Bilaspur and Raipur.
Raipur-Bhubaneswar Express leaving Raipur today will be diverted via Titlaqgarh, Singapore Road, Vijayanagaram, Palasa and Khurda Road.
Howrah-Koraput express leaving Howrah today will be short terminated and will run from Sambalpur to Howrah tomorrow.
