Petition seeks cencellation of Omkara's Censor certificate
Lucknow, Aug 31 (UNI) A petition seeking cancellation of the Censor Board certificate to the Ajay Devgan-starrer 'Onkara' was today submitted in the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court registry.
The petition is likely to be taken up for hearing tomorrow.
Hindu Personal Law Board secretary Prem Chandra Sharma has also pleaded that the Uttar Pradesh Government Order exempting 'Omkara' from entertainment tax for three months be also cancelled.
Mr Sharma has contended the Censor Board should not have passed the film with an 'A' certificate, since it was named after a Hindu deity.
