Mobera Systems awarded Nasscom-BSA certificate
Chandigarh, Aug 31: City-based contract research and development company Mobera Systems was today awarded the Certificate of Recognition (CoR) by Nasscom and Business Software Alliance (BSA).
Certificate of Recognition is a unique programme of Nasscom to encourage organisations to respect and follow Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) practices.
''Mobera Systems is the first company north of NCR to adopt the standards demonstrated by respecting IPR, using licensed software and voluntarily opening its internal processes for independent audit,'' said Dr Sanjay Tyagi, Additional Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), while presenting the certificate to Mobera's directors Puneet Vatsayan and Anupama Arya here.
The company with offices in US and France, engaged in offshore product development and engineering services in the areas of embedded technologies, communication and wireless, mobile content and animation.
''The Indian IT industry is poised for major innovations, R&D and development of original software products, which necessitates the sensitisation of the IT industry in the country towards IPR,'' said Mr Puneet Vatsayan.
''Protection of IPR is an integral and important component of our business philosophy and we are glad to have taken the initiative in this direction'', said Mr Anupama Arya.
