Junior doctors abstain from work at KIMS

Hubli, Aug 31 (UNI) Members of the Junior Doctors Association here today abstained from work at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here, demanding fulfilment of their several demands, including payment of stipend.

They were also demanding sanction of stipend for their nine-day strike period during May last.

They submitted a memorandum to KIMS Director Dr M G Hiremath, who assured them to do the needful after discussing with the authorities concerned.
