Jackie Chan's rendezvous with Simi Garewal on Sept three

Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) It's a rare treat for all Jackie Chan fans as they will get an opportunity to get an insight into the life of the man known as Hong Kong's 'one-man film industry', in a rendezvous with Simi Garewal, which will be telecast on September three on Star World at 2130 hrs.

Chan, whose real name is Chan Kong-Sang, has made over a 100 movies beginning his career from a stuntman.

A press release issued here said Simi Garewal travelled to Hong Kong to interview the international martial-arts superstar.

According to Simi Garewal, ''Jackie was wonderful. He didn't hide anything, didn't evade any question. He wasn't 'image-conscious', in fact he spoke about aspects even more than I could have asked for.

He revealed things that aren't even there in his biography! Graciously, he was the one who knelt and thanked me!'' In this in-hour special episode, Jackie speaks about his childhood, the fact that he was born in poverty and his immigrant parents almost sold him at birth to a British doctor as they couldn't afford the hospital bill. For the first time, the blatantly honest superstar shares details of his marriage, his obsession with making movies, the innumerable dangerous stunts he has performed, his take on Bollywood and charity.
