International Tourism Expo from Sept 2

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 31 (UNI) An International Tourism Exhibition, jointly organised with Tourism India, Indian Trade Fair Foundation, South Kerala Hotel Federation and IATA agencies Association of India will be held here from September 7 to 9.

More than 70 institutions, including Qatar Airways, Orient Tours Dubai, Pondicherry Tourism, King Roters Sampark Multimedia, Mumbai, Pan Asian Holiders, Kolkata, Mahindra Holidays, KTDC and Kurumba Resorts, Neelagiri, would take part in the three-day exhibition, scheduled to be inaugurated by Kerala Home and Tourism Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, India Trade fair Foundation Chief Execuitive Gopakumar told reporters here.

He said Kerala Tourism, Lakshadweep Tourism, Andaman Tourism, Thenmala Tourism, Air Deccan, GISTC and Sterling Holiday Resourts would take part in the exhibition.

A seminar on ''Tourism and Aviation and Tourism: development of the country and protection'' would also be organised in connection with the exhibition, which would be inaugurated by state Forest Minister Binoy Viswam, he added.

Mr Gopakumar said prominent people in the aviation tourism sector would present papers in the seminar.

He said arrangements were also made to choose favourite tourist packages for those, who wish to travel in any part of the world.
