Harin Pathak to head Committee on Government Assurances

New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today nominated 15 members to the Committee on Government Assurances of the House with Harin Pathak as its Chairman.

The Committee comes into being with retrospective effect from August 7, 2006, a Lok Sabha Secretariat release said.

Other members of the committee are Mr Rashid J.M. Aaron, Mr Yogi Aditya Nath, Ms Mamata Banerjee, Mr Jigajinagi Ramesh Chandappa, Dr K. Dhanaraju, Mr Biren Singh Engti, Mr Sunil Khan, Mr Vijoy Krishna, Mr Rasheed Masood, Mr A. Venkatesh Naik, Mr Nihal Chand, Mrs M.S.K. Bhavani Rajenthiran, Mr Rajiv Ranjan 'Lalan' Singh and Mr Aruna Kumar Vundavalli.
