Four workers killed in gelatin blast in Bangalore

Bangalore, Aug 31: Four persons were killed in a gelatin blast last night at a Workers' Colony at Arashikere Gate near the Bangalore International Airport in Devanahalli.

Police said today that the fire accident took place at a shed situated in the Workers' Colony near the Airport.

The police said they suspected the blast of a crude bomb which killed four workers hailing from Tamil Nadu last night.

The victims had come to Devanahalli to work at the Airport, they said.

Top police officials have rushed to the spot and are conducting the investigation, they said.
