Consign Tech Pvt Ltd rechristened GoDB Tech

Chennai, Aug 31: The city-based Technology company Consign Technology Private Limited was today rechristened as GoDB Tech Private Limited and the firm would launch its latest version GoDB 3.9 on its Enterprise Mobility Platform.

Talking to reporters here today, GoDB Tech Managing Director Raja R said GoDB 3.9 would be a more advanced version to support both feature phones and smart phones.

''With its release, the Total Addressable Market has increased multifold as the earlier version GoDB 3.4 supported only smart phones'', he added.

The GoDB Mobile Platform assists enterprises in extending their existing applications like ERp, SFA and SC to Mobile devices like laptop, Personal Device Assistance (PDA) phones and Cell phones.

With GoDB, enterprises have the choice of choosing any mobile device without having to rewrite the mobile applications.

He said given the exponential growth in GoDB supported phones and rapid adoption of the platform in India and abroad, the company would focus on B2C and B2B mobile applications. It would also jointly develop and market the products with products companies in India and abroad.

In this regard, the company would set up direct operatons in the United States for marketing and project management activities and build industry focussed mobile products with domain partners.

Mr Raja said the company would also work closely with chip vendors to cater to the needs of embedded market. ''We will closely work with silicon vendors by setting up operations in Bangalore, dedicated to embedded market''.

He said the company would also double its manpower strength in its and D Developmental Centre in Chennai from 60 to 120 by the end of March next year.
