2 contract killers arrested

Varanasi, Aug 31 (UNI) Two contract killers working for the notorious Babu Yadav gang were arrested from the Sigra area here following a brief encounter early today.

Police said Vishal alias Manjit and Mahendra Pal were held from the Jal Vihar Colony.

Two countrymade revolvers and live cartridges were seized from the duo.

On being interrogated, they admitted to planning murder of a trader in Akelwa village, for which they had been paid Rs 60,000.

Investigations were on.
