18-yr-old sexually assaulted by maternal uncle

New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) An 18-year-old was allegedly raped by her maternal uncle in Krishna Nagar area of East Delhi.

The accused Manoj is absconding, said the police.

Manoj, the maternal uncle of the victim, allegedly forced himself on her at her Shanti Mohalla residence in Krishna Nagar after her husband went on his job this morning, said sources.

The victim later said she had been molested by him on earlier occasions also but she had desisted from complaining.

A case had been registered in Krishna Nagar police station and hunt is on to arrest the accused.
