Suspended TRS MLAs hold mock Assembly

Hyderabad, Aug 28 (UNI) Suspended TRS MLAs today held a mock Assembly inside the Andhra Pradesh Assembly to highlight the 'injustice' meted out to the Telangana region.

TRS Senior Leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy donned the role of the Chief Minister and said his priority was Kadapa (the native district of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy) and not Telangana.

While Mr Govinda Naik donned the role of Speaker, Kasipeta Lingayya imitated Leader of the Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu.

There was bedlam even in the mock Assembly when 'TRS members' shouted slogans against the Pothireddipadu Project.

Increase in the capacity of the Pothireddipadu project head regulator drew sharp criticism from the opposition parties which alleged it was meant to carry water to the native of Chief Minister's native place.
