Row over Vande Mataram unfortunate: Brinda

Raipur, Aug 28: Communist Party of India (Marxist) Politburo member Brinda Karat today described as 'unfortunate' the controversy over reciting of Vande Mataram.

''I don't think that anyone will object to reciting of two stanzas of Vande Mataram'', she told newsmen here.

Ms Karat said the remarks of BJP and Shiv Sena members in the Lok Sabha over the Vande Mataram controversy were 'very unfortunate'.
