Hrishikesh Mukherjee to be cremated tomorrow
Mumbai, Aug 28: Legendary filmmaker and Dadasaheb Phalke award winner Hrishikesh Mukherjee who passed away yesterday, will be cremated at Shivaji Park Electric Crematorium at 1400 hrs tomorrow.
Speaking to sources, his grand-daughter Tupur Chatterji said Hrishida is survived by three daughters and two sons. The younger son is no more, while the elder is settled in United States. He will reach here tomorrow.
The body has been kept in the morgue Leelavati Hospital, here in Bandra at Mumbai.
''Hrishida's body will be kept at the Bandra Hindu Association on Linking Road in the lane opposite Amarsons which is one way at Bandra between 1030 hrs to 1300 hrs to enable people to pay their last respects,'' Tupur said.
Hrishida was known for his films like 'Mili', 'Golmal', 'Satyakam', 'Guddi', 'Chupke Chupke' to just to name a few. His last film was 'Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kate' starring Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla.
