Police officer's son killed in accident

Machilipatnam, Aug 27 (UNI) The son of Vijayawada Railway Superintendent of Police, was killed on the spot and five others were injured when the car in which they were travelling over turned at Manganipudi Beach near here this evening.

The deceased was identified as Sudheer (18).

Police said the mishap occured when the car lost control before turning turtle.

The injured were sent after administering first aid, police added.
