Naxals set ablaze NMDC jeep in Bastar

Jagdalpur, Aug 27 (UNI) Naxalites have set ablaze a jeep belonging to the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) near Kirandul in tribal Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.

Police said the incident took place when NMDC employees were returning from 11 C iron ore mines. However, the Naxals did not harm them.

In another incident, the Maoists killed a villager Telam Shuklu at village Santoshpur near Bijapur, accusing him of being a police informer. UNI XC JJ VD KP1750
