Munda seeks Ganapati's blessings to overcome odds
Jamshedpur, Aug 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today said the state is fast developing despite several odds.
Inaugurating the 87th ''Bala Ganapati Vilas''Puja, the oldest one in the steel city here, Mr Munda said the need was for strengthening one's inner power to combat the outward force and practice introspection to distinguish between the good and the evil forces.
The Chief Minister assured the Puja committee that a Ganesh temple would be constructed here and developed as a tourist spot.
Saryu Rai, the BJP MLA from Jamshedpur(West) informed that the construction of the temple would begin soon.
Mr Munda, who performed puja along with his wife Meera Munda, also inaugurated another Ganesh Puja at Bagbera area.
Meanwhile, Ganesh Puja is being celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiam in more than fifty places in and around the steel city.
The district administration beefed up security measures in view of the Ganesh Puja celebrations.
