Munda flays Opposition for trying to create anarchy in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur, Aug 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today came down heavily on the Opposition, charging them with creating ''anarchy'' and ''misunderstanding'' in the state.

Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Munda said, '' Those trying to create instability in the state and pull down the ruling government at any cost will not succeed in doing so. We are running the coalition government successfully for the consecutive second term but the Opposition could not do it and crumbled within a week. '' '' I am not at all worried about such intention of the Opposition. I am concerned with the development of the state and the people of the state will give the befitting reply when the time will come,'' he asserted.

Mr Munda said the setting up of the industries was on the right track and the problem of power would be sorted out soon as the alternative power grid was be installed. Additional substation and transformers would also be set up to meet the increasing demand of electricity, he said.

To a question, the Chief Minister said the government was serious about formulating the Relief and Rehabilitation policy and the decision in this regard would be taken in the next Cabinet meeting, slated to be held soon.

He said the naxalite menace was not the problem of Jharkhand alone as more than a dozen states were affected by the insurgency problem. It should be looked upon as national perspective and the Centre should come forward to combat the menace, Mr Munda suggested.
