Mother-son duo arrested with smack

Phagwara, Aug 27 (UNI) Phillaur police today arrested a woman along with her son and recovered 550 gramms of smack worth Rs 1.5 lakh from their possession near village Silkiana.

DSP Gursharandeep Singh Grewal said the accused Kashmiro and her son Buta Ram were booked under NDPS Act. A motorcycle belonging to them was also impounded.

Both the accused were going to sell the smack, when they were nabbed, he added.
