Kurumba Tribal Chief passes away
Palakkad, Aug 27 (UNI) The Chief of the Kurumba Tribe of Attapady, Mudda Mooppan, died at his son's house at Puthur today in the district after a brief illness.
He was 120. He married 23 women and had about 50 children.
The Tribal Chief, who was an expert in 'ottamooli', had played a key role in propagating the traditional herbal treatment and organised many camps throughout the country, including Delhi.
