GAIL gets new CMD

New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Mr S P Rao today took over as the Chairman and Managing Director of Gas Authority of India (GAIL) Ltd.

Mr Rao is at present Director of Projects in Gail. He took over the additional charge of the post today, a GAIL release said here.

He is the senior most full time Director of GAIL and has been in charge of operations and maintenance and project execution of the company since October 1999.

Mr Rao has been with GAIL since its inception and has a rich experience of 36 years in the oil and gas industry.
