Four AK-47 missing from BMP-6

Muzaffarpur, Aug 27 (UNI) Four AK-47s were looted from BMP-6 in Muzaffarpur today.

BMP-6 Comandant M Ram said here today that the weapons were found missing when the guard turned-up in the morning shift. He said the weapons were probably looted last night.

An FIR had been lodged against the night shift guard.

Meanwhile, DIG Muzaffarpur range Gupteshwar Pandey said investigations were on into the incident.

On August 22 a fake persons clad in CRPF uniform came to the camp and took away one AK-47 and 60 live cartridges in the name of VIP security. The matter came to light when the genuine CRPF personnel turned up for the same. Investigations were on in this matter also.
