Workers reported missing with gold
Thrissur, Aug 26 (UNI) Six gold ornament workers from West Bengal have been reported missing with 2,700 gm of yellow metal worth about Rs 26 lakh from their unit at Ollukkara in this district of Kerala.
According to police, a local jewellery owner gave the gold to the workers for making ornaments.
A police team lead by a Sub Inspector had already left for West Bengal in connection with the case.
Police identified the workers as Pappan, Raju, Sabeer, Samur, Nirmal and Mannus.
