Two people arrested in North 24 Parganas

Barrackpore, Aug 26 (UNI) Two people has been arrested for allegedly forging documents medicines in Bachaspatipara under the Titagarh police station area in North 24 Parganas.

The arrest was made following a specific complaint from the Bengal Chemists and Druggists Association.

The accused had superimposied the expiry dates of various pharmaceutical items like baby soap, baby cream, talcum powder and other medicinal items, the BCDA officials alleged.

Police seized some of the items, expiry dates of which were tampered by re-stamping. Seals were also seized by the police.

However, police was yet to book the dealer for whom his employees were doing the job in his store here.
