Two killed in two separate accidents

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 26 (UNI) Two persons were killed in two separate road accidents in the city today.

In the first accident, a cyclist was killed on the spot after he was knocked down by a speeding motorcycle at Kazhakkootam, here. The deceased was identified as Anandan (45) of Anayara.

A 52-year-old man was killed when the motor cycle on which he was riding was knocked down by a lorry at Chakka.

The deceased was identified as Divakaran, Senior Superintendent of ITI, Chakka, hailing from Vembayam, hospital sources said.
