TPCC to be formed shortly: Tanwar

Agartala, Aug 26 (UNI) The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) would be formed within twenty days, according to president of National Youth Congress Ashok Tanwar.

Briefing the mediapersons, Mr Taanwar said that all formalities have been completed to form new TPCC body.

When asked about the differences among the party leaders in the state, Mr Tanwar while admitting this, he said still the leaders were united in party affairs against the ruling regime.

"We will fight together in the forthcoming Assembly elections and will form the Government," Mr Tanwar hoped.

Taking a dig on the Left Front government in Tripura, Mr Tanwar said the backwarnes of the state was due to present regime and the people should ponder as what the CPI(M) led government had done for the state in the last 13 years.

He said the party would go for fresh members drive soon in the state.
