Symposium on ethics in governance
Bhopal, Aug 26: A two-day national symposium on 'Ethics in governance- moving from rhetoric to results' will be held at the National Judicial Academy here from September 1.
The symposium, being organised by the Academy and Administrative Reforms Commission, will be inaugurated by former CJI J S Verma, while CJI Y K Sabharwal will deliver the valedictory address.
Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman Veerapa Moily, Union Minister of State for Personnel Suresh Pachouri and Academy Director Prof G Mohan Gopal will also address the symposium.
State Lokayuktas, members of the Central Vigilance Commission, senior officers of Central Bureau of Investigation, chief of state anti-corruption bureaux, representatives of civil society and judges of different High Courts will also attend it, official sources said.
