Sonia to address rally at Bangalore on Sept 3

New Delhi, Aug 26: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will address a rally at Bangalore on September 3, when hundreds of followers of former Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah join the Congress.

A former JD-S leader, Siddaramaiah had quit the party and joined the Congress recently accusing the JD-S of betraying the principles of secularism in joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party to form a government in Karnataka.

The September 3 rally has been organised by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, according to party sources.
