PNB announces Onam bonanza

Kozhikode, Aug 26 (UNI) Public sector banking major Punjab National Bank (PNB) today announced Onam bonanza for Keralites by slashing interest rate on various loan schemes during the Onam festival season.

As per the scheme, the bank offered a 0.25 per cent reduction on the existing interest rate of 9.25 and 8.75 to 9.75 on car and housing loans respectively, Zonal Manager S P Singh said in a release here today.

A customer opting for a loan under the scheme will have an added advantage of full waiver of upfront fee, processing and documentation charges on various retail loans, he said.

The special bonanza, in force till September 29 and available through its 130 branches in Kerala, also offered reduction of 0.50 per cent on Personal Loan, Pensioners Loan, Doctors' Loan, Future Lease Rental, he said.

Traders can avail upto Rs 20 lakh under gold jewellery loan and mortgage loan schemes subject to compliance of bank conditions, the release added.
