Man murders wife, attempts suicide

Hubli, Aug 26 (UNI) A man hacked to death his wife when she was asleep and attempted suicide at Huilgol village in Gadag district.

Police said Sharanappa murdered his wife Laxmavva (25) and tried to end his life vexed over frequent domestic quarrels.

He was admitted to a hospital in Gadag town.
