Heroin worth Rs one crore seized

Lucknow, Aug 26 (UNI) The special operations group of Rampur Police has seized one kg heroin worth Rs one crore in the international market.

Acting on a tip-off, the SOG personnel arrested Manoj Jatav from Rampur-Moradabad highway and recovered the contraband from him.

Efforts were on to nab his associates in neighbouring districts.

The district police claimed the accused was part of an interstate gang of drug smugglers.
