Cong CMs' conclave in Naini Tal on Sept 23, 24

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) The next conclave of the Chief Ministers of the Congress-ruled States will be held in Nainital in Uttaranchal on September 23 and 24.

The Conclave,the second after the Congress-led UPA Government came to power more than two years ago, will focus on agriculture, highly placed sources in the party told UNI here. The last conclave of the Congress Chief Ministers was held in Chandigarh.

The CMs conclave,sixth in the series ever since it was held first in Guwahati when the Congress was in the Opposition, was to have been held in the last week of this month, but was postponed due to forthcoming foreign visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi will address the two-day conclave, to be attended by all the Chief Ministers of the Congress-ruled States, besides the party General Secretaries incharge of the States.
