4 killed, 24 injured in mishap

Gorakhpur, Aug 26 (UNI) As many as four people were killed and over 24 others injured when a Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus collided with another vehicle here today.

Police said the mishap took place in Sahjanwa, when the bus was on way from Sonauli to Delhi. All victims hailed from Nepal.

The injured were rushed to BRD Medical College, where their condition is stated serious.

Meanwhile, the bus driver and conductor are absconding.

A case has been registered.
