10 killed in landslip in Western Nepal

Kathmandu, Aug 26 (UNI) At least ten people were killed and three others injured in a landslip in far Western Nepal last night.

According to the local radio, at least ten people were killed and three wounded in a landslip, due to heavy rainfall, in Dashaarth Chand Municipality in Baitadi district. Two houses were also engulfed in this incident.

A joint rescue team of the locals, along with local police and the army, has reached the site, the Kantipur FM quoted a reporter as saying.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the a district hospital in Baitadi.
