Two tribal poachers arrested
Baripada, Aug 25 (UNI) The forest officials have arrested two tribal poachers of Patharkhani village for allegedly killing a Sambar from Bhanjabasa in Simlipal forests and for selling its meat.
The forest officials seized a country made gun and some quantities of Sambar meat on Wednesday from the possession of one Budhia Hembrom and his son Dukhia Hembrom.
Four other poachers who had accompanied the duo and took part in killing of the protected animal were absconding, sources said.
