Suspected Pak terrorist nabbed on Indo-Bangla border
Malda, Aug 25 (UNI) A suspected Pakistani terrorist was arrested in Mohdipur near the Indo-Bangla border in West Bengal's Malda district late last night, police said here today.
Additional Superintendent of Police Debasish Baral said Badrul Sheikh was entercepted by the Customs authority, at the Mohdipur checkpost when he was coming to India from Bangladesh.
A number of visas, including Pakistani Malayasia, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, besides CDs and blueprints of various Indian airports were seized from his possession.
''District police is still interrogating Sheikh, who has revealed to the police officials that he was asked to go to Patna from Malda.
Through a message, in his mobile phone, from Pakistan, he was directed to take the Farakka Express, go to Patna and meet a person.
The person in Patna was supposed to direct Sheikh about his future course of action,'' Mr Baral said.
