Malda, Aug 25 (UNI) A suspected Pakistani terrorist was arrested in Mohdipur near the Indo-Bangla border in West Bengal's Malda district late last night.

Additional Superintendent of Police Debasish Baral said here today that Badrul Sheikh was stopped by the Customs authority, while checking his luggage, under the English Bazar police station area at the Mohdipur checkpost when he was coming to India from Bangladesh.

A number of visas, including Pakistani, Malayasia, Bangladesh and Saudi Arab, besides CDs and blueprints of various Indian airports have been seized from his possession.

''District police is still interrogating Sheikh, who has revealed to the police officials that he was asked to go to Patna from Malda.

Through a message, in his mobile phone, from Pakistan, he was directed to take the Farakka Express, go to Patna and meet a person.

The person in Patna was supposed to direct Sheikh about his future course of action,'' Mr Baral said.
