MP Govt effects bureacratic reshuffle

Bhopal, Aug 25: In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh Government has issued transfer and posting orders of IAS officers.

The state government relieved senior IAS officer Vinod Choudhary from the responsibilities of Member Secretary (State Planning Board) and Secretary (Planning, Economic and Statistics).

Mr Choudhary's responsibilities has been confined to 20-point Implementation, Grievance Redressal, Bio Diversity and Bio Technology departements besides the General Administration Department (Human Rights).

Secretary (Mining) and Madhya Pradesh State Mining Development Corporation Managing Director Manoj Jhalani had been assigned the additional responsibilities of Member Secretary (State Planning Board) and Secretary (Planning, Economic and Statistics).

Commissioner-cum-Director (Town and Country Planning) S N Mishra, who also held responsibilities of Executive Director (Disaster Management Institute) and Secretary (Housing and Environment), has been appointed as Commissioner (Higher Education).

Secretary (Board of Secondary Education) J N Malpani has been posted as Ratlam Collector in place of Ms Dipti Gaud Mukherjee who will become Director (Town and Country Planning) and Executive Director (Disaster Management Institute).

Secretary (Tribal Regional Development) B K Batham had been assigned the additional responsibilities of Backward Class Welfare.
