Karunakar Reddy new TTD Chairman

Tirupathi, Aug 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh government today appointed B Karunakar Reddy as the Chairman of Trust board of Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam (TTD).

He replaces T Subbirami Reddy, senior Congress and Union Minister of State for Mines.

Mr Karunakar Reddy, who hails from the temple town, is also the Chairman of Tirupathi Urban Development Authority.

Talking to newsmen here, Mr Reddy said he would take all necessary steps to maintain the quality of ''Laddu'' prasadam and curb flourishing black market of darshan tickets on temple premises.
