Journalist killed in car accident

Lucknow, Aug 25 (UNI) Journalist B C Tiwari today died in a car accident in Bara Banki district here.

Sources said Tiwari (57), who worked as a part-time journalist for UNI in Rae Bareli, was seriously injured in a car accident near Rudauli village of the neighbouring Bara Banki district. He was rushed to a hopspital here, where doctors declared him brought dead.

His son, Amit, a local Congress leader in Rae Bareli was also critically injured in the accident.

Tiwari, who had been a lecturer of English in a Rae Bareli college, had a long association with UNI.
