Haryana to outsource technical Panchayat works

Chandigarh, Aug 25 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to outsource technical support for all types of Panchayat works.

A panel of qualified engineers or diploma holders would be prepared to help in preparation of estimates, designs, supervision, quality control and preparation of record for the purpose, an official spokesman said.

He said applications had been invited from those interested in associating themselves in the consultancy work.

While the works upto Rs three lakh would be executed by the Gram Panchayat on muster roll basis, those above three lakh and upto Rs 50 lakh would be got executed through tender system by the district level committee headed by the concerned Deputy Commissioner.

Works above Rs 50 lakh would be tendered at the State level by Director Panchayats.
