Group clash in Malda district, five injured

Malda, Aug 25 (UNI) Tension gripped Mohdipur village under English Bazar police station area following a students' clash between two communities today over using a drinking water tubewell.

The BSF sources said here that both the BSF and police have been deployed in the area.

The BSF 72 battalion and English bazar police soon rushed to the spot and fired two rounds of bullet.

Five students were injured in this incident.

They were rushed to the Malda government hospital, police said.
