Five get lif in abduction case

Hajipur, Aug 25 (UNI) The first district and sessions judge Lakshman Sinha today awarded life imprisonment to five accused in a kidnapping case.

As per the charges the accused had abducted 12-year-old Uday Kumar alias Rinki, son of a local trader, for ransom on February 25, 2003 at Chandrapur market under Desri police station area in Vaishali district.

Those who have been convicted are Ashok Rai,Ganesh Rai, Likhin Rai, Ramesh Sah and Krishnanandan Singh.
