Five CRPF jawans among 13 injured in grenade attack
Bhaderwah, Aug 24 (UNI) Thirteen people, including five jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force, were injured in a grenade explosion in Seri Bazar in Doda district this evening.
Assistant Superintendent of police Ashok Sharma told UNI that militants opened fire and then exploded a grenade in crowded Seri Bazar area at about 1930 hrs injuring 13 people, including two head constables and three constable of the CRPF.
Militants fled away from the spot under the cover of darkness.
Police and security forces have launched a search operation to nab the ultras.
All the injured have been admitted to a hospital here where condition of five civilians is said to be critical.
